Extremely limited production Callaham (yes Bill of the now Hardware fame) EL84v amp. This 30-watt hand-wired head is a recreation of a Trainwreck Rocket. The amp boasts thick lush notes that bloom and sustain. It is extremely responsive to rolling down your guitar’s volume just like a real Wreck. Callaham Amps & Guitars are amongst the hardest items to acquire because they are cherished by their owners. This amp was a one-owner item that lived in a nonsmoking environement. It apears to have all original components (not certain about the tubes). Tonally it plays well with my Ronin, vintage LP Jr, Stevens LJ, Underwood Strat and Detemple Tele. It responds well to a variety of speakers. There are a lot of amps out there but VERY few do what a Callaham does.
