Boy o’ Boy what a TREAT we have here! I still remember my first Myka…staring at the most beautiful creation on a website only to find out it was sold. I lusted after that guitar for YEARS until it was mine all mine…and what I encountered was something that stood out even through all these guitars and all these years….uniquely excellent craftsmanship. The woods just present themselves to you and are not covered with gunk. The heal is smooth and comfortable. The guitar rests ergonomically standing or sitting. The playability is like a fine work rather than a notchy stamped out piece of rubbish.
JUST IN: Someone kindly turned my onto this article on thegearpage.net. The thread describes the build of this guitar and tons of details! Here you go!

Tonally you will adore Myka guitars and this one is no exception. CLEAR and responsive. You can dig in if you like or strum away. The guitar responds to you picking dynamics. It sounds woody and stringy at the same time. You frets are so smooth that sliding up to notes is effortless. I loved it through all my amps and it played well with clean to mean.
1 Piece Honduran Mahogany Body with a figured Walnut Top. 1 piece Honduran Mahogany Neck….these features can not be under-appreciated because very few builders spend the time and money to obtain the best woods. ALSO this guitar weighs at just a tad over 8.5 pounds which is an achievement when you consider the scarcity of light weight top notch woods. All mahogany is not the same….fine builders such as David Myka search for the finest woods that are only available in extremely limited amounts (sometimes just enough for one guitar). The big guys simply can not do this.
