Can you say WOW.  This Murhpy Aged & Painted ’59 has the IT baby.  I have 2 in stock so I can compare.  This has that springy lush 3D snappy clean on pushed tone.  This is the type of tonal quality that I look for when designating a piece as a ‘top 10 percenter”.    NOT dark.  NOT mush.  NOT farty bottom.  NOT thin and empty.  It just plays perfectly with every one of the amps in our library from the ’73 Marshall 20w to the Bogner Uber to the ’66 Deluxe Reverb to the ’57 Bassman.  It is what I like to call the “Universal Donor” of guitars because it doesn’t just go well with one amp.
