Have you tried a Scala yet? I had one of the LP guitars (vented) and it blew me away….now I scour the planet for used ones…why?…because they are a steal vs. new. This Tele style has a ‘vented’ top which means the top has carved chambers where it meets the body…the body is hollowed in such a way that it helps the top both vibrate & the guitar produce warmth (what a runon sentence). The result is airy, warm 335 like notes with stringiness added. Arcane pickups certainly add that purity of tone that comes out of the instrument. Just 6lb-2oz which would make even my “oh that tele is 1 ounce too heavy’ guys stutter to find their next ‘why I can’t buy’ excuse. See the Spec Sheet by clicking above.
