c. 2013 Knaggs Kenai T3 with a ridiculous top.  Just 7lb-11oz with its Original Hard Case.  This Kenai features Lollar pickups.  The prior owner was a collector and babied his instruments.  It was lovingly cared for in a nonsmoking environment.  The prior owner had the pots/etc upgraded with RS components and the difference is amazing…like taking a pillow off from in front of your speaker.

Michael Stevens is one of the modern world’s greatest luthiers.  After founding the Fender Custom Shop, Michael went on to establish his own 1-horse operation in Texas where he painstakingly hand crafts custom ordered instruments from scratch…one at a time.  In my opinion, Michaels work is the finest available.  I have sold dozens of his impossible to find guitars and each is uniquely voiced, individually beautiful and toneful in an indescribable way.

This 1999 Classic features a carved top AND a carved back.  Korina Body & Neck with a fantastic Flame Maple Top.  Tom Holmes 453 & 455 pickups and a Piezo that can be activated by using a stereo plug.  Brazilian Rosewood Board of course.  Mann Trem that is stable and easy to rest your palm on without that spring noise you often hear in trems.  Comfortable S-profile neck that isn’t too beefy but not thin.  Almost no fret wear and nonsmoking.  Original custom case.  Meticulously cared for.

This guitar has bite and thickness while retaining clarity.  Think of a fatter LP with a tight bottom end.  The Classic responds extremely well to changes in volume knob position.  There is coil splitting that can be done on an individual pickup basis.  It was made for a professional musician and it delivers.  I have this currently hanging in the ‘Jim’s collection’ room. It plays perfectly well with my Hi-Tone, my Three Monkeys Orangutan, my Vox AC15 and my Bogner Uber.  Can’t get enough of this.

Hand wound Sakashta NOS Tribute Pickups.  Original boxes. Don’t confuse these for Sakashta pickups that were NOT wound by him…there are plenty of those floating around at cheaper prices.  These never come up for sale because there just are not many…and those there are have found permanent homes.

Very rare early Klon.  This just sounds better than the later versions.  This has more midrange and less fizz than any of the other Klons I’ve played.  Just my 2 cents….sorry no box or papers.

Slab 1-piece quarter sawn korina body & 1 piece korina neck!  You just can’t find that quality korina anymore that is light and resonant (which is why you don’t see many korina guitars).  The PROTO has an awesome larger V-ish neck profile and a tone that can put hair on your chest.  Some korina guitars are very scooped sounding….this particular one has a great midrange as well as clear lows and highs.  It handles Hi-watt type amps (I’m loving my Hi-tone btw…and ‘no’ I don’t stock them so there) or my Bogner.

Just 7lb-14oz & a Brazilian Rosewood Board.  The Prototype has an extended cutaway on the back of the guitar to provide unparalleled upper fret access.  Also, this guitar comes with an extra guard in black and covers (in case).  The quarter sawn woods are unique to the Futuremasters…I’ve had almost every one made and this by far has the most visually (and tonally) appealing woods.

2015 Ronin Kingbird Trem – Brand New Authorized Dealer.  Think Strat/Tele with FOIL Pickups..why?…because foil pickups are clear snappy and unique tonally.  If you have several F-style instruments in your collection isn’t it time you expand your horizons and ADD something UNIQUE?  The tones you will achieve from a Ronin will make you believe what I feel…Ronins are the most unique addition to the boutique guitar market in the past 6 years (at least).

2007 Swamp Ash Detemple Strat!  1 piece body and titanium upgrades.  The tone of this one is unique as are they all…but ALL Detemples have overtones like no other F-style guitar you’ve owned.  Let me make a believer out of you.

Framire…hmm…what art thou?….think Korina but snappier.  This Michael Spalt guitar is named Framire because (spoiler alert) it is made of a 1 piece Framire body and Framire neck.  Madagascar Rosewood Board.  Bone P90 pickups with nice clarity and snap. I love the LP neck profile and neck binding.  Tonally this is like my ’59 LP JR but fuller, warmer and the neck/middle positions are totally additive…and it’s 1/2 the price….you dig? …bettter tone than my own personal guitar….and I’m selling this…why (my fave question …’if it’s so great why r u selling it…blah’).   I sold this new and it was traded back toward a $10k guitar…see I do that…trades…some guys ‘didn’t get your message’ when you go to sell it back…not me..I’m here waiting 24/7 for you to remember me.

Delap Guitars are a Holdsworth fans dream.  Hand created one at a time….these take YEARS to build.  You could order one, wait several years and pay thousands more…or grab this one…just a few months old from a smoke free/gig free private home…save money and have it this week….you decide.   Steinberger Trans-Trem!  Birch Top & Back with an Alder middle.  US Hard Rock Maple neck.  6100 frets.  1.65″ width & 25.5″ Scale w/ 24 frets.  20 degree radius & Indian Rosewood Board.  No visible fret wear.  Just some very fine surface contact swirls (the ones that only show in the light) are what keeps this from being mint.  OOOH did I mention it is only 5lb-4oz?

Nik Huber Bolt-On Dolphin PROTOTYPE.  Exc “+” Condition.  Not 100% certain of the body wood.  Haussel Pickups.  Trem.  Extremely clean.  Multitude of tones.  Very light weight and resonant.   Huber quality in a unique format with a lot of tones.  See the Spec/Condition sheet for further info.

Melancon Master Artist….a WOW guitar at any price….but used in this condition is a steal.  Master Grade Flamed Redwood Top over a Mahogany body.  Mahogany Neck w Ebony Board.  Just 7lb-9oz.  Stainless 6150 frets. TOM HOLMES PICKUPS.  Grover tuners.  .855-.955 C neck profile.  The finish is set into the wood so you feel the materials not the coating.  The tone comes through.  The neck vibrates.  The guitar is loud acoustically.  The tonal range is full and even.  These rarely come onto the market.  Grab this 1-off before it becomes something you see and can’t ever un-see again.
