2011 Gustavsson Bluesmaster P90 in tuxedo!  Gloss Black with binding on both the body & neck.  This understated piece conjures up images of the 50s classics but without the undisclosed issues, playability concerns, hit-or-miss tone and of course the seldom disclosed weight.  This is a Tele in LP Clothing that happily marries the best of both worlds. It is said the best LPs are Teles on steroids….well, here you have the consummate example.  Many have tried to achieve this…..Gustavsson successfully achieves it.  The body is NOT an exact tele shape…it is slightly modified while retaining the aesthetic.

Tonally this one has some serious snap even in the low end.  One of my favorite Gustavssons to ever pass through (and we have had more than just about anyone).  Excellent condition from nonsmoking environment.

2019 Gil Yaron ’52 Blackguard in Near Mint Condition!  1-owner from a smoke free environment.  Just delivered and the owner traded it to us.  I compared it to my real ’51 Nocaster and you can’t tell the difference tonally.  Open, stringy with that haunting fullness and inate sustain.  He NAILED it.  Friends at home know we specialize in all the best modern boutique guitars….so when we say something is “IT” usually we are pretty right on the mark.

Impossibly rare RICK TOONE S2 guitar.  These are over $15k new folks and rarely come up for sale.   This one is so cool it has been in my collection and I have to say NO guitar on this planet sounds better through my Axe-Fx or my Bogner than this.  OH don’t be fooled…it also LOVES my 1961 Vox AC15 and my ’58 Twin Tweed.   Why?  How can 1 guitar play SO WELL with modern and vintage classics?    Couple of things

First off, the custom made super thin aircraft grade aluminum neck RESONATES like an angry rollercoaster car.  You feel string vibration like nothing you have ever experienced.   All that string vibration gets translated to the pickups and the result is a very big alive sound that will never fart out.

Second, the multi-scale Fender to Gibson let’s low strings gain clarity and high strings can be bent with ease.

This is probably the easiest playing guitar (from ergonomics) you can ever wish for.  I’ve been at this for decades.  I’ve had the Kleins and Cantons and Delaps and Teuffels.   Nothing compares.  Sitting or standing you find yourself ONE with the instrument.  You will find that things you practiced unsuccessfully suddenly can be done on this.

The guitar has been lovingly cared for.  You can see all the specs and condition in the 3rd picture (I’m the ONLY dealer on earth to prepare such a detailed piece).   The only thing of real note is that the prior owner had the guitar refinished.  It used to have a light factory relic (the owner wanted unrelic’d).

Leo SCALA custom built instrument!  If you are looking for unobtanium then THIS is worth your investment.  As you know, Scala guitars are sold out everywhere and have a long leadtime.  This is an earlier piece and the features/craftsmanship will blow away anything within spitting distance of its price point.

Just out of a collection, this near mint Tom Anderson guitar is ready to be played and loved.  It is a Hollow Drop Top Classic and it features a PIEZO and a Madagascar Rosewood Board!    The guitar was barely played and lived in a smoke free environment.

This color is wonderful. A modern take on a vintage hue.  The pickup configuration, the Vintage Voicing Switch and the Ability to Split Coils & Add the Bridge pickup…this is a recording/gigging guitarist’s dream.  I just LOVE Tom Anderson necks.  This one is 1-11/16″ and has Locking Tuners & Heavy Frets.  You can see the neck deph in the Spec / Condition Sheet.

YES the Trem ARM IS IN THE CASE…..I JUST LOVE THE EMAILS “TREM ARM”….like dude….is that really a dealbreaker?….cuz the answer is always YES and then you go poof….are there internet trem police lurking every listing ready to send an email saying only “Trem Arm?”….I mean that’s almost as good as when people ask what color the case is…really?…the case color stands between you and purchasing this instrument?…ahhh the joys of being loved on the internet.

Here is a ‘plug and play’ solution to your Strat needs.  Complete pickguard setup with Pots and 5-way.  The highlight….RON ELLIS Strat Pickups.  These are the 50s 60s w FAT Bridge.  NOS Cap included in the setup.

The guard is a 3-ply mint color.  I tried to take pics of it in different lights.  These pickups are the GO TO for anyone in the know.  You spend SO much money on gear…why not suck it up and get the best Strat upgrade available.    You will find Fender or Lollars to be very small sounding and sterile by comparison.  I have Ron Ellis in my Strat….been a fan since before they were hot.  We sell what we believe in….step up and join the ‘in the know’ crowd.

2017 Frank Hartung “Embrace Custom”.  Hand crafted by a master luthier.  If this were new it would be thousands more.  Condition on this is super clean “mint -” with Original Hard Case & Certificate of Authenticity.  It  is a one-owner piece from a nonsmoking environment.   This is just LOADED with custom hand crafted features such as a Matching Flame MAPLE Headstock overlay, Maple pickup ringsm, Maple Neck Binding and Madagascar Rosewood Board.

The finish is a super thin nitro that isn’t sticky to the touch.  The weight is a WOW 7lb-5oz.  How many times have you lusted after a guitar only to find out it was a 9+ pounder….not here.  You can see ALL the specs & detailed condition in the 3rd PICTURE.  

Tonally this one has CLEAR ringing notes.  My test is thumping the Low E string…if it remains tight & the neck vibrates then the guitar has promise.  I read this years ago in a Guitar Player article…works nearly every time.  If you try the test on most LPs they are dead…and the low E farts out.  This guitar is super clear and musical especially in the low end.   It won’t overpower your amp’s bass side.  The notes form chords.  The notes are even from fret to fret and string to string.  The pickups are clear and not compressed sounding.  A bargain of a piece priced where you would find a bolt on scrap-wood production guitar.   Which do you want….please make the right call….please…..
