I have owned several of Kenny Fischer’s original amps.  I have played many more. I have owned a lot of the JM Trainwreck modern production (such as this).  I can tell you first hand that JM, as Kenny’s apprentice, picks RIGHT up where Kenny left off.

20+ years ago I spent hours upon hours on the phone with Kenny.  He was generous with his time and always full of teachings.  I miss our calls and the CDs we would send each other with cool bands and guitar tones.  At times during our calls Kenny would tell me his friend John Mark was there helping him.  Through Kenny, I came to know John.  I can tell you John knows tone.  He knows speakers.  He knows tubes.  He knows amps.  He is painstaking in his component to component testing.  He tests a zillion tubes in each position of each amp.  He is tireless in nailing the feel, tone and flexibility in each amp.

This is a 2016 JM Trainwreck Express (YES it is a Genuine Trainwreck as Kenny’s family has annointed JM as the successor to the business).   JM has access to Kenny’s stash of everything.

This Express, Angel, is loaded with carefully selected NOS tubes.  The amp has low hours. It comes with a D2F padded cover & the manual.  The tone is freaking AWESOME.  It has that characteristic fatness and sustain blooming into each note musically.  It cleans up simply by turning down your guitar’s volume.  These are not amps to turn to 10.  The sweet spot is between 10 and 2.  The knobs are interactive and allow you to tweak easily.  The amp LOVES different speakers.   I tried it through a host of modern and vintage cones and cabs.

Compared to a Marshall…there is no comparison.  A Wreck is FAT and FULL and Throaty but not overkill.  It just allows you to play and it fills in behind you.  There is no coaxing a note to sustain.  There is no need for pedals.  This amp will make you a better player because it will allow you to focus on what your hands should do next…not on coaxing out what should be (and is not) from other amps.

COOL as Fuq WHITE Germino Club 40 in Excellent Nonsmoking Condition.  This features a Master Volume AND the switch that allows you to get either Tube OR Solid State Rectifier tones.  Loaded with features and well taken care of.  I have a great customer (and dear friend) who loves Germino amps.  This one he RAVED about.   Why spend $5k for a vintage amp that will be hit-or-miss and likely loaded with someone elses cheap soldering jobs.

Why do we love this model?  Well if you’ve ever had a vintage Gibson you are always fighting that cardboard deadish tone that many have.  You also have to always wonder if it’s one of those with undisclosed issues…and of course you wil find out when you go to sell it.  Gabriel is the luthier to the stars because people LOVE the fact that he worked out the kinks from the vintage guitars while maintaining the quality and mojo.

This one has CLARITY….it has SNAP along with the OOOMPH.  We have stocked SOOOOOOO many other hand made brands and THIS is the one to consider if you want that vintage vibe.   New this would cost mid-$5ks and the wait is REALLY long.   Grab this super clean one for less than dealer cost would have been..

2011 Fender American “Deluxe V-Neck Stratocaster” with Original Hardshell Case, Warranty Card & Tags.  YES IT HAS THE TREM BAR.  From a nonsmoking environment.   USA Made and very quality instrument.  This sounds every bit as good as the high end Custom Shops that I get into the store.  I just LOVE the Noiseless N3 Pickups.  WONDERFUL especially when I tested this through my vintage amps and then my Fractal modeling amp.  If you record or play out you will LOVE these pickups.  They don’t lose any oomph and retain their high end AND they are noiseless.

Super Rare GOLD BOOK Gibson Custom Shop 50th Anniversary 1960 RI Les Paul.  This is in Excellent Nonsmoking Condition (check the feedback for my store and buy with confidence).  It comes complete with the coveted GOLD BOOK Certificate of Authenticity, Tags and Unsigned Warranty Card.  Of course, it comes with the Black Gibson Form Fit Case (original of course).

This was part of an extremely limited edition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1960 LP.  The neck on this is damn full and not skinny to my feel.  People say there are several variations of the 1960 neck and that some are more like 59s (closer to them)…this might very well be the case in this example.

The weight is a perfect 8.5 pounds (8lb-9oz to be exact).  It features the original pickups and the guitar is unmolested with no mods and no repairs.  It is hard to find any flaws on this because it was owned by a collector and barely touched. We grade it as Excellent to avoid any disappointments.   The color on this is Sunset Tea Burst.

The customer who traded this in is known for grabbing a LOT of Les Pauls that he hand selects for his collection.  This will not disappoint.   Super sounding guitar and the color/flame is just breathtaking.

2011 Teuffel Tesla Classic in Sapphire Blue with Original Hardshell Case!  This even comes with a padded extra case as well!   The instrument was home-use only and is from a nonsmoking environment.  As a store specializing in high end boutique gear I consider Teuffels to be the pinncale of modern creation.  They are ergonomic and toneful and works of art.  They take over where Kleins were and take things to an entire new level or functional form.  Tonally they are a nuance player’s dream because they are super responsive to finger and pick dynamics.

Just look at the heavily birdseyed neck on this one.  Play with the 3 custom buttons that allow you to have a TON of fun….if you like a Ronin with a Torniculator then you will LOVE this.   These guitars sound wonderful through vintage amps, modern amps AND modeling amps.  I simply can’t find a bad sound out of it.  The neck has that bubbly tone with some nice snap.  The bridge pickup has a musical growl yet retains all the clarity when you take things up a notch with gain.

Any style of player will adore this Teuffel Tesla Classic.  Light, ergonimic, easy to play, easy to carry, and tuneful. What more can you ask for?

2010 James Tyler USA Classic in FUNKY Carmel Cappuccino Shmear!  Extremely resonant instrument that gets both the Strat and LP tones with ease.  If you want ONE guitar then this is it.  I’ve had 50 Tylers and they are all special.  This one has a certain fatness i’ve not encountered often.  It is freaking BIG sounding.

2006 Tom Anderson ATOM in what I believe might just be their coolest color to date.  This is finished in SHEER GOLD which is like a natural finish with a slight gold sparkle overlay.  Even the back of the guitar has a subtle sparkle in the right lights.  Very fresh indeed!  This guitar is from a Nonsmoking Environment and features its Original Hardshell Case.

Germino Classic 45 from 06/2018 in Excellent Nonsmoking Condition.  Low hours and from a nonsmoking environment.   YES it comes with the power cable (LOL…I mean would you seriously not buy it if it didn’t).

Fantastic old world tone in an affordable format with modern reliability.  Save a bundle on an amp that is a few months old with no mods and no repairs.

If you like craftsmanship and you want a guitar that is a STEAL then try a Siggi Braun.  I’ve had several and they vibrate in your hands like almost nothing I’ve experienced.   Structural efficiency is evident in this instrument.  The strings are alive and the guitar naturally pushes your amp by translating energy through the chain.

This is priced to move but it is worth several times its asking price.  Consider the 5-Piece Neck of Maple & Walnut.  RThe Medium Heavy Stainless Frets.  Custom Pickups “Siggis Favorite XL” set.  Korina Body with a satin Dracary Burst that is the best color/finish I’ve seen in years.

The whole instrument weighs in at just 7lb-01oz and of course comes with it’s original hardshell case.  This piece was Brand New and acquired from an Authorized Dealer. I am selling it as Mint because I’m not an Authorized Dealer but know that our store instruments are kept in a humidity controlled vault.  We are an internet only dealer so our instruments are not played by every Saturday afternoon drop in looking to ‘check out’ some gear.

This baby features a 1-Piece Honduran Mahogany Body & a PREMIUM Flame Maple Top (finished in Iced Tea).  Medium Frets (standard on this model) and a 24-7/8″ Scale with a 1-11/16″ Width.   The Medium-Fat C measures .86″ – 1.01″ and the fretboard is MADAGASCAR ROSEWOOD.
